I’m Courtney, a UI/UX designer. I enjoy problem-solving through design. I like breaking complex problems into smaller pieces and iterating on creative solutions that meet my user’s and client's needs.
I was first drawn to design and front-end development because it’s accessible and scalable. Effective design allows businesses—big or small—to engage, empower, and educate their users across many platforms.
Since completing my Master’s program in Interactive Media at Elon University, I’ve focused on designing, creating, and optimizing custom websites for small business owners, mid-size companies, large corporations, and a Fortune 500 company.
I find success with clients through partnership and empathy. Once I thoroughly understand a user’s and client’s perspective, I work with them to build a strong online presence that authentically reflects their brand while being refined, approachable, and impactful. I focus my design decisions on user research, data, design patterns, and market trends to help improve people’s everyday lives.
